The Minds Eye Media Ranch

We are building a digital movie making ranch in Northern California based on sustainable living. When completed in 2011 this intentional community will be home for a 50-100 writers, artists, computer animators and digital filmmakers. The MEM Ranch will serve as a model for how sustainable communities can be profitable and will be a sister community to the Califia project.

Strawbale, adobe and Gaudi style earthship construction techniques will be used to build archology (architecture + ecology) housing and studio facilities. Leading edge classes and conferences on using technology and meditation to transform the world will take place at The Ranch. There will be a full service retreat center and holistic spa for residents, visiting guests and artists. We are currently in Phase One of The Minds Eye Media Community Ranch Project:

This intentional community of digital artists is being modeled on existing ones, such as Arcosanti in Arizona, Damanhur in Italy and Auroville in India.
